The "Paint and Dip" class with Mrs. Johnson was another success!! They dipped their brushes into paint, dipped some food into various dips, and dipped their toes into letting their imaginations run wild. Each person put their own spin on it based off of the example.

Last week, the Granada Fire Department visited the elementary students to teach them all about fire trucks and the important work firefighters do. The students learned about the different tools firefighters use, how they prepare for emergencies, and even got to see the inside of a real fire truck up close. It was an exciting and educational experience that helped the kids understand fire safety and the bravery involved in firefighting.

At this time, we are unable to provide transportation on Tuesdays for our Homework Help students. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. Thursday transportation is still provided.
We appreciate our GHEC custodial/maintenance crew for their continuous efforts to make sure GHEC School is a clean and enjoyable place to teach and learn.
Homework Help is now available. 6-12 students who need additional academic assistance are encouraged to attend.

Middle school Robotics class had fun creating a design and then make directions for others to follow week 1!
Elementary Teacher Scuba Squad from Homecoming last week! It was "sink or swim" with a busy week of school with FastBridge Testing and Homecoming week!
8th grade science had a fun first lab today. They had to stack water in their straws today. Each color was a different density due to the amount of salt in it.
Intro to Robotics class week 2 has been successful. Students made a wind up car and a moving bug bot.
Due to a very busy and early homecoming week, the GHEC Fun Run date has been changed to October 25th at 4pm in Granada. Hope to see you all there!
GHEC Fun Run/Walk registration is now open! Registration forms are due August 30th if you would like to order a shirt. Registration stays open until 5pm on the day of the race. We hope to see everyone out. It's going to ROAR!
